Standards Council seeking volunteers for IEC/TC 94 - All-or-nothing electrical relays
The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is looking for new members to join Canada's Mirror Subcommittee to IEC/TC 94 - All-or-nothing electrical relays.
The scope of this subcommittee is to prepare international standards applicable to all-or-nothing electrical relays used in the various fields of Electrical Engineering covered by the IEC, normally produced in very large numbers as components of electromechanical or electronic equipment and eventually submitted to Quality Assurance requirements based on sampling techniques.
For more information about participation requirements or to apply, visit the SCC website.
Upcoming Activities and Conferences
2016 IEEE International conference on Smart Energy Grid Engineering
Date: August 21-24, 2016
Location: Oshawa
The 4th IEEE International conference on Smart Energy Grid Engineering will be held at UOIT, Oshawa, Ontario on August 21-24, 2016. Smart Energy Grids are energy networks that promise to enhance the operational efficiency of nationwide energy and power supply via distributed generation with bi-directional energy and electricity flow. The SEGE conference aims at providing an opportunity to discuss various engineering challenges of smart energy grid design and operation by focusing on advanced methods and practices for designing different components and their integration within the grid.
