Message from the IEEE Canada President

Dear IEEE Canada Members and Friends,
As the outgoing IEEE Canada President, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you - the IEEE volunteers, members and friends in Canada - for putting your trust in me and for your outstanding contributions and dedication to the mission of IEEE: “IEEE's core purpose is to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity.” Let’s work together to address today’s complex challenges, e. g. providing a safe accessible communications infrastructure for all; developing solutions to curtail global warming and to address impacts caused by changes in climate.

On January 1, 2020, Dr Jason Gu will take on the role of IEEE Canada President, IEEE Region 7 Director / Delegate. Please, help me welcome Jason Gu, IEEE Canada President, 2020-21.

I wish you a very successful and enjoyable year 2020.
