Recognizing Lena Jin, Outgoing Editor

The IEEE Canada leadership wishes to acknowledge the many years of service of volunteer Lena Jin.

Since early 2014 Lena has been Editor of this Newsletter, a role she carried out with responsibility and commitment. Despite the demands of her employment and other ongoing activities, she has kept the Newsletter to its monthly production schedule.

Managing both the content and formatting of the many pages of the IEEE Canada Newsletter is no easy task. Many volunteers are familiar with the challenges of one of these -- few take on both.

Lena's contributions to the Region date back to 2007, when she served as Newsletter Webmaster, working with then Editor Alex Bot. In taking over the Editorship in 2014, she kept her existing role -- adapting to a new format for the site.

Thank-you, Lena, for helping us stay abreast of activities and achievements in IEEE Canada for these so many years.

This issue has been edited and formatted by the IEEE Canadian Review's Editor-in-Chief, Bruce Van-Lane. The Board expresses its gratitude for his assistance during this transition period.
