Wahab Almuhtadi has been selected as the Director of IEEE ComSoc North America Region (2018 - 2019)

Congratulations to Dr. Wahab Almuhtadi, P.Eng., SMIEEE, EIC Fellow on becoming the Director of IEEE ComSoc North America Region (R1 - R7), and being a member of ComSoc Board of Governors.

Dr.Almuhtadi is currently also, serving as the Vice President, Education, IEEE Consumer Electronics Society (CESoc), Chair of Communications and Publications Group - IEEE Canada, Director, IEEE Canadian Foundation (ICF) Member, IEEE ComSoc - Region 7 Chair, IEEE ComSoc, CESoc, and BTS Ottawa Joint Chapter.

Thamir Murad received The Ontario Professional Engineers Award

Thamir (Tom) Murad, PhD, P.Eng., SM.IEEE, 2016 Toronto Section Chair, FEC, recently received Award for Engineering Project or Achievement on behalf of Siemens. The Ontario Professional Engineers Award for Engineering Project or Achievement pays tribute to an endeavour that has made a significant, positive impact on society, industry, and/or engineering, and that was conceived, designed and executed with significant input by Ontario engineers. The Awards are given jointly by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and the Ontario Society for Professional Engineers (OSPE). Congratulations!
