The 2015 IEEE International Humanitarian Technology Conference will be held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada from May 31st to June 4th, 2015. Based on the discussions that emerged from IHTC 2014, IHTC 2015 will focus on how technology designed for humanitarian purposes can improve the lives of vulnerable communities (including aboriginal/indigenous peoples)

The International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), the 22nd in the series that has been held annually since 1994, will bring in together in Quebec City leading engineers and scientists in image and video processing from around the world. Sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society, ICIP is the premier forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental, and applied image and video processing.Research frontiers in fields ranging from traditional image processing applications to evolving multimedia and video technologies are regularly advanced by results first reported in ICIP technical sessions.

2015 Electrical Power and Energy Conference (EPEC)

The 2015 IEEE Electrical Power & Energy Conference (EPEC 2015): - SMARTER RESILIENT POWER SYSTEMS - will be held in London, Ontario, Canada from October 26th to 28th, 2015. EPEC 2015 is an opportunity for electric power and energy systems experts from industry, academia, and other interested organizations to discuss the latest developments in the field: academic and industrial research, industrial/business trends and challenges. This may include debate on the potential impact of these developments including discussions on regulatory and policy aspects. The conference provides an international forum for the presentation of peer-reviewed power and energy research and development, Industrial Panel Presentations, and Exhibits Tutorials / Workshops. There will be opportunity to tour a 80MW Solar Farm, a wind farm and other installations.
