  Special Grants support new and innovative initiatives particularly involving students, though not exclusively. Scholarships not yet awarded in 2024 are also open. Apply or nominate now! Donor supported programs of the IEEE Canadian Foundation enhance the educational and scientific aims of IEEE in Canada.

• IEEE Canadian Foundation Celebrates 30 Years

  In 1994, the IEEE Canadian Foundation became a charity, registered with the Canada Revenue Agency. Our programs of Grants and Scholarships today support students and boost IEEE related activities across Canada. Our support of IEEE McNaughton Learning Resource Centres across Canada provides an on-campus environment for students to apply classroom learning to practical projects and local initiatives. Our donors who make all this possible have impact that grows and strengthens our IEEE fields of interest. Please consider making a tax deductible gift – on-line, annual dues renewal, appreciated assets, bequests. Larger gifts can fund custom programs that engage a specific vision and fulfill an underserved need.

Workplace Giving Supports the IEEE Canadian Foundation

Your employer may facilitate workplace giving to socially beneficial causes including the IEEE Canadian Foundation. Matching of your gift may also be offered year round in support of corporate social responsibility or sometimes seasonally as a year end gesture of goodwill. Gifts may be processed though HR services such as Benevity or CAF America (yes, it also covers Canada).
