The deadline for submission of nominations for the IEEE Canada Major Awards is extended to December 29, 2024. An updated description of the Awards including award qualifications and a link for submission of nominations will be provided by early December. Scholarship Opportunity for Graduate Students in Microwave Theory & Technology fields
The "IEEE Canadian Foundation Dr. John William Bandler Graduate Scholarship in Engineering Design" has been funded by Dr. Bandler's wife Beth Budd Bandler to annually provide one worthy recipient a $5,000 grant to further his or her education and research. Nominations for the scholarship are due March 15, 2025. On-line forms for nominations will open early January. -
Scholarship Opportunity for Graduate Students in Computer Science fields
The “IEEE Canadian Foundation Dr. Nick Cercone Graduates Scholarship in Computer Science” has been funded by colleagues of Dr. Cercone to provide one worthy recipient every other year a $7,500 scholarship to further his or her education. Nominations for the scholarship are due January 22, 2025. Inquiries and nominations should be sent to Dr. Jimmy Huang at jhuang@yorku.ca with a subject of “Nick Cercone Scholarship Application”.
