This is an IEEE eLearning tutorial developed by Frank Giannattasio and IEEE's Office of Risk & Insurance Management Services.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to manage risks in various engineering fields to protect your business from potential losses. This covers understanding professional liabilities, identifying and assessing risks, adopting loss prevention strategies, adapting to business changes, handling contracts, and maintaining proper documentation. By the end, you will be skilled in pinpointing risks and implementing effective strategies to mitigate them.

Luc Matteau Memorial Fund
The IEEE Canada Foundation is saddened by the recent passing of Luc Matteau (1947-2023) long-serving Director of the Foundation and all round IEEE Canada volunteer in his home section of Peterborough and nationally. Those who wish to donate to the Luc Matteau Memorial Fund of the IEEE Canadian Foundation may do so by clicking Canada Helps (select fund #10) at this link.
This fund will support IEEE programs that match Luc’s passions and interests, including volunteerism, engagement and student growth across Canada.
